Online science tutoring
We inspire through science
Science underpins our understanding of the world around us and drives innovation that has enabled humanity to reach the stars.
An education in science is not just important for understanding the universe, but also for the development of problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills and a level of scientific literacy that is becoming ever-more important in an increasingly technological world.
Research suggests that in the next decade up to 75% of all jobs are estimated to be in the STEM sectors.

We aim to stir our students’ innate curiosity of the world through structured exploration of the natural sciences and linking of abstract concepts to real-life experiences. Our hand-selected tutors go above and beyond just helping you navigate exams - using dynamic teaching styles and tailored lesson plans, they aim to inspire students to embark on their own journey of exploration.
This is all achieved through our specialised online platform that brings positive learning experiences to the comfort of your home and on a schedule that is most convenient for you! Our tutors can teach all elements of the National Curriculum from KS1 to A-Level:
Tutoring in science doesn’t just nurture an education in the natural world, but also improves core skills in reading, writing, discussion, maths and critical thinking. Unlike in a group class, one-to-one tutoring allows children to have the space to build their confidence and self-belief at their own pace.
At WMA, we aim to personally match each student with a specialist tutor most suited to their needs, personality and learning styles. Through our rigorous training and interview scoring process, we discover which teachers are most suitable for each student, to ensure a bespoke experience in every lesson. We do not believe in a “one size fits all” approach to teaching and online tutoring!
What does our tutoring include?
As a newly qualified doctor from Oxford University, Jess has a range of teaching experiences, from tutoring biochemistry at Oxford University, to tutoring students for their GCSE A-Levels in mathematics, further mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics.
She brings excitement and simplicity to all her science lessons and has a proven record of improving her student’s grades and igniting their enthusiasm.
What have our parents said?
I wanted to say that Jess has been incredible! Riya has already jumped 2 grades in her Chemistry. Jess has taught Riya in a few weeks what she has been unable to grasp in a year at school. Very lucky to have found her. We are very happy with the service.
